The latest team to go down: the USF Bulls.South Florida was clinging on to its donut in the “L” column by the skin of its teeth.Earlier in the year, the team narrowly beat Illinois, one of the worst teams in the Big Ten. It needed a lot of luck to get by a one-win Tulsa team two weeks ago, and struggled with one-win UConn last week, eventually winning 38-30.Today was the day it finally all fell apart.Houston knocked off USF football 57-36 in today’s game.Quarterback D’Eriq King absolutely shredded Charlie Strong’s Bulls defense in every facet. He had 419 yards and five touchdowns through the air, and another 132 on the ground, with a pair of scores. The game also featured a very ugly moment on the sideline for the Bulls, with linebacker Khalid McGee charging and shoving assistant coach Blue Adams. The two had to be separated on the sideline.USF having some sideline issues between a player & coach pic.twitter.com/RLuZSu81Vq— CJ Fogler (@cjzer0) October 27, 2018Late in the third quarter, USF’s Blake Barnett tossed a 39-yard touchdown pass to DeAngelo Antoine to cut Houston’s lead to 43-36. From there, Houston finished the game on a 14-0 run.Charlie Strong’s going to need to get his team to regroup after this one.
