With spring practices taking place this time of the year, the coaching staff set aside time to meet with Zak Zinter. The four-star offensive tackle is an intriguing prospect from Buckingham Browne & Nichols School. He clearly has the attention of other elite programs, such as Notre Dame, Auburn, and Boston College.Nonetheless, Zinter spent time on campus for Penn State on Monday. Details of the actual visit aren’t out at this moment, but it’s obvious there is mutual interest.Zinter confirmed his unofficial visit with the Nittany Lions on Twitter by revealing his location in Happy Valley.📍in Happy Valley!! 🔵🦁⚪️— Zak Zinter (@zak_zinter) March 25, 2019His last visit at Penn State was during the regular season finale against Maryland. It gave him the opportunity to get his first taste of game-day action at Beaver Stadium.247Sports lists Zinter as the No. 3 recruit from the state of Massachusetts.Penn State currently has just one offensive lineman for its 2020 class in three-star recruit Grant Toutant. As for the true notable players of the class, the Nittany Lions hold commitments from linebackers Curtis Jacobs and Derek Wingo.Landing Zinter to bolster the offensive line would be a tremendous addition for the future of Penn State.
