KCCA travel to Bugongo to face relegation-threatened Masavu FC

We have several injuries that are affecting us at the moment but we will have to do without those players because we are in a situation where we are expected to win regardless of who we put out on the field of play.”KCCA FC is expected to be without Ibrahim Saddam Juma who has been ruled out for close to two months, Muzamir Mutyaba(foot injury), Shaban Muhammad and Julius Polot who are also still out with respective injuries. Comments “Playing Masavu is not going to be easy because they are a team which is fighting for their life as they would love to stay in the top tier, concluded Mutebi.The only good news from the treatment room for Mike Mutebi’s side is the return to fitness of striker Patrick Kaddu.Match Facts. The two teams have faced off only once in the top flight with that meeting coming in November last year as KCCA battered Masavu 6-0 at the StarTimes stadium.Masavu are winless in the second round of the league having drawn both their games(1-1 vs UPDF and 0-0 vs Maroons).The Entebbe based side have won only one of their past six games in the league (D3 L2). The sole victory came at home to fourth placed Onduparaka whom they defeated 2-1.Masavu has lost all three games against the top three, conceding 11 goals in the process without scoring.They (Masavu) have won only two of their nine games at home in the top flight(D1 L6).For KCCA, they have so far played one game in the second round of the league (1-0 win over SC Villa) but this will be their sixth encounter in all competitions since the turn of the year(W4 L1).KCCA has dropped 11 points against bottom half teams but have lost only once against these sides(2-1 away to proline).KCCA has won only twice in the league away from home (3-1 at Bul and 4-0 at Soana) and have seen themselves succumb to defeat on two occasions while drawing all the other three games.Only 10 of KCCA’s 29 goals this season have come away from home but the defending champions have failed to score in only two games on their travels and that was in games against URA and Mbarara City, both goalless stalemates.center_img Tags: Azam premier leagueKCCA mike mutebimasavu FCsports toplast_img
