MORE NEWS: Number of homes sold for profit set to rise News reports said the Crazy Clark’s discount variety store sold for more than $100 million in 2009 to DSG.But the couple’s luxury unit is expected to attract plenty of attention from the market, and is tipped to sell for north of $5 million. It is one of only 10 units in the Aquila development, each boasting its own floor. Mrs Clark said it was time to downsize, with their daughters, aged 19 and 21 years, about to leave home. She recently gave the Courier Mail an exclusive tour of the house-sized apartment, and the views did not disappoint. WOW: What we saw from the apartment during the Sunsuper Riverfire“I have just come back from working in the US and Riverfire, it is the prime time to show it off, to promote it,” she said.“What we have really loved about it was that it still feels connected to nature and the river.”The couple bought the spectacular, single floor in 2015 for $4.65 million, and added a few of their own touches, but Mrs Clark said it was otherwise “turnkey” ready.New Farm has one of Brisbane’s highest median sales prices, and property records show eight of the 10 other apartments within the Aquila complex have sold for more than $5 million, including one that sold for $6.5 million last year. A photo taken from the entertaining deck when the apartment was on the market in 2013At a massive 468sq m, the Clark apartment is bigger than the average modern house, and the features are top class. The designer kitchen, which has European appliances and a marble island bench, overlooks the dining and lounge area which flows on to the large entertaining deck.Floor-to-ceiling glass runs the length of the main living area, framing the river and city views. The main bedroom and its discreet balcony also take full advantage of the vista. Other features include a full wall of bespoke cabinetry, an ensuite featuring Statuario marble and a walk-in robe. New photographs will be taken soon but we did get this snap from the main bedroomFurther down the hallway there are two more large bedrooms, both ensuited and with their own walk-in wardrobes and balconies.“These were perfect for the girls,” Mrs Clark said. There is also smart wiring throughout, with the audio, lighting, music, blinds and security fully automated. The apartment also has a storage room with wine racks, a wine fridge, laundry and three secure car parks.Shared amenities, which are close to the Clark’s apartment, include a gym, 20m heated pool and private pontoon. And the kitchen looks out over the main living area, balcony and the cityMrs Clark said that while there is a television in the apartment, it is rarely used.“We prefer to watch the city lights,” she said. The luxurious pad will hit the market next week, and will be listed with Place Bulimba agent Sarah Hackett. Ms Hackett said she had already had one off-market offer on the apartment, but was keen to open it up to the whole market. She said the Clark’s were prepared to “meet the market” in terms of value.“This is only one of 10 apartments and they are all one per floor, which is very much in demand,” she said.“The view is mesmerising and all of the apartments are owner occupied so it is not only an amazing apartment but also an amazing lifestyle.” Brisbane property’s time to shine center_img Live like a hotelier in Brisbanelast_img read more

And it just snowballed from there. It gets bigger and better every year.”LaFleche says the event couldn’t have been successful without the sponsors and hard work of the performers. Money raised from the event will go to the class of 2024’s senior trip, graduation, caps and gowns, and more.AddThis Sharing ButtonsShare to FacebookFacebookShare to TwitterTwitterShare to MoreAddThis Tags: beat it, Hillman, megan trainor, Michael Jackson, Mock RockContinue ReadingPrevious Blue Line Club to host “Puck O’ The Irish” fundraiser and alumni gameNext Pickup truck crashes into snowplow on I-75 in Cheboygan Countylast_img read more

Tom Brady reacts to Rob Gronkowski trade: Run it back!

first_imgView this post on Instagram These two @tombrady @gronkA post shared by NFL (@nfl) on Apr 21, 2020 at 2:31pm PDTGronkowski retired in March 2019, shortly after Super Bowl 53, when he won his third ring and Brady his sixth. Last year, the tight end was named to the NFL’s 100th Anniversary All-Time Team along with Brady. He is widely regarded as one of the best to ever play the position.A series of injuries forced Gronkowski to miss 29 regular-season games out of a possible 144 during his first nine years in the NFL, all of which he spent in New England with Brady. Gronkowski later said it was the mental toll, rather than the physical struggles, which led him to call it a day. Now, having recently won the WWE 24/7 championship belt at WrestleMania 36 — which aired earlier this month — Gronkowski is returning to the NFL to play alongside Brady once more. Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are set to be reunited with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with the former excited to “run it back” with his longtime New England Patriots teammate.Just hours after Gronkowski hinted he may come out of NFL retirement, it emerged the 30-year-old was indeed planning to return and was the subject of a trade between the Patriots and the Bucs. The deal was swiftly finalized on Tuesday. The Patriots are sending Gronkowski and a 2020 seventh-round draft pick to Tampa Bay in exchange for a 2020 fourth-round selection.center_img GRONK TRADE GRADES: Head-scratcher for the BucsAfter the trade was made, the NFL’s official Instagram uploaded a video of Brady and Gronkowski smiling in 2019 after the Patriots beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC championship game to reach Super Bowl 53.The clip, which was accompanied by P. Diddy’s “Bad Boy for Life,” included the caption “these two,” with Brady writing in the comments: “Run it back.”last_img read more
